Once upon a time there were two beautiful ladies named Lyndsey and Racquel from the land of Michigan. They created magical potions to help women look and feel beautiful. The most magical of all was called Erase Paste for it truly erased fine lines, acne scarring and age spots. A business which became very successful was created. Ladies from all over the land sought after the magical potions for the skin. As the business grew so did their families and soon it became too much for the ladies from the land of Michigan.
Lyndsey and Racquel made the difficult decision to close their business making magical potions for the skin. There was such an outcry from their customers that they looked for someone to take over. A mother, two grown daughters and granddaughter had become quite attached to all the potions that Lyndsey and Racquel made, and inquired about owning this business….and it became so.
Four ladies from the lovely land of Tennessee began to make all the magical potions. The most magical potion, Erase Paste, was the most difficult of all, for there was not a specific recipe but was mostly made by the feel of the potion. But as time marched on, the four ladies conquered the most loved magical potion ever….Erase Paste!
A fun way to tell a very true story. Hannah, Ashley, Ellie and I have owned Handcrafted Beauty for almost 3 years! It is so very hard to believe how quickly time passes. We have enjoyed success and endured failures..but we are determined to carry on and conquer! Why? Because we absolutely love all the HCB products. We were using and loving the products several years before purchasing Handcrafted Beauty.
Making Erase Paste and Erase Paste Plus have definitely been the most challenging part of owning this business. I will compare this part of our journey with the favorite recipe your mom or grandmother passed down to you, or maybe a treasured recipe that was shared verbally. What you endeavor make never tastes exactly like what mom or grandmother made because they always added their own little flare. Quite possibly the ingredients were just “guesstimated”.
My grandmother used to make corn cakes – a delicious, sweet pancake made from corn meal. She would make them and serve with any meal. I asked her for the recipe…she quickly told me there was no such thing but she did show me how to make corn cakes. It was an epic fail on my part. I never could get the hang of it. For corn cakes were made by adding a little of this and a little of that.
We have continued to adjust and improve Erase Paste and Erase Paste Plus. We absolutely love the way the last three batches have turned out…and guess what? We have sold out very quickly so you must also love them too!
Soon you have the opportunity to purchase a jar of the most magical potion so don’t forget to set a reminder! Erase Paste and Erase Paste Plus release on Thursday, October 21 @ 10pm eastern time zone!! Grab yourself a jar or two!
Blessings!
Janet
